R-410A refrigerant, alias R410A, SUVA 9100, Genetron AZ-20, Genetron 410A, Puron 410A, etc. As R-410A is an HFC type near azeotropic refrigerant (completely free of ozone-depleting CFCs and HCFCs), it is recognised and recommended by most countries in the world as a mainstream medium to high temperature environmentally friendly refrigerant, and is widely used for initial installation in new refrigeration equipment and for re-adding during servicing. It meets the standards of the US environmental organisations EPA, SNAP and UL, and complies with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) A1 safety class category (which is the highest class and is not harmful to human health).
R410A refrigerant is a blend of HFC-like substances that does not contain any ozone depleting substances and has an ODP value of zero. However it has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP), 1725 times that of CO2, which is similar to R-22. Compared to R22, R410A has a significantly higher cooling capacity and therefore offers the possibility of designing smaller and more compact air conditioning units. And because of its near azeotropic properties, the refrigerant temperature slip is less than 0.2°C over the entire operating range and R410A does not undergo significant separation in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, i.e. no change in refrigerant composition due to leakage, so that the remaining refrigerant in the system does not need to be discharged during after-sales service recharge. R410A is recognised worldwide as a medium to long-term alternative to R22 refrigerant in domestic air conditioning.
Application

R-410A is widely used today as a medium to low temperature refrigerant, mainly in domestic air conditioners, small to medium commercial air conditioners (small to medium sized unitary air conditioners, indoor central air conditioners, multi-connectors), mobile air conditioners, dehumidifiers, freeze dryers, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial refrigeration and other refrigeration equipment.
R410A refrigerant is the best and final choice for replacing Freon R22 in newly installed refrigeration equipment (usually for air conditioning systems); however, due to the difference in pressure between R410A and R22 (R410A pressure is much higher than R22) and the different compressor oils, after-sales service for refrigeration equipment initially installed with R22 refrigerant, if the refrigerant needs to be added or replaced again, it is still R22 can only be added, and R410A cannot normally be used as a direct replacement for R22 (i.e. a blood change is not normally possible; however, R410A can be used as a direct replacement for R22 when servicing or replacing refrigeration equipment that was originally installed with R410A).
Storage method

Refrigerant R410A cylinders are pressurised containers and should be stored away from fire, heat sources and direct sunlight, usually in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
