Isopropanol, also known as 2-propanol, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C3H80. is an isomer of n-propanol. It is a colorless transparent liquid with the odor of a mixture of ethanol and acetone. Soluble in water, alcohol, ether, benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents. Isopropyl alcohol is an important chemical product and raw material, mainly used in medicine, cosmetics, plastics, spices, coatings and so on.
