1. The volatilization loss of DINP is less than that of DOP. the characteristic viscosity is similar to that of DOP. If DINP is used alone, a higher viscosity value will be obtained.

2.DINP is suitable for plastic production with stable viscosity and no problem in dispersing foam. Low melting temperature. As a PVC coating, DINP has the lowest viscosity and the viscosity change is quite small.

3. Mainly used for PVC, DINP is also widely used for toy film wire and cable because of its good water resistance, extraction resistance, electrical insulation and low toxicity.

Physical and chemical properties

Methods of production

1. Add 3~4 parts isononyl alcohol and 1 part phthalic anhydride to the reaction kettle, and heat up under stirring condition for the monoesterification reaction.

2. Add 0.001~0.002 composite catalysts when the temperature rises to 150~180℃.

3. Continue to heat up to 225~235℃, hold for 2~3 hours, carry out the double esterification reaction, make the reaction in the kettle fully and thoroughly.

4. The temperature is lowered to 190~195℃, and the crude product of diisononyl phthalate, a plasticizer, is obtained by traditional decompressure dealcoholization method. 5. The plasticizer diisononyl phthalate was obtained from the crude product by the traditional decolorization and filtration method.
